About me

What can I say about me? I’m a book worm who  likes old books. I love classic ghost stories especially those by M.R James and Joseph Sheridan Le Fanu. I also like Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and Edgar Allan Poe. I’m a Sherlock Holmes fan.

I enjoy Sherlock,  I love the Jeremy Brett Sherlock Holmes series and I’m rather partial to Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce too! Also love Doctor Who, Merlin and Horrible Histories (Yes adults can watch it!) and my recent new love Yonderland.  You can read more about that  here, where I talk all about my questionable taste. I never question it but others do 😉

I’m an Open University student, agoraphobic, and general nervous wreck. I’m currently studying towards an undergraduate humanities degree (creative writing pathway) with the Open University. I’m trying to convince myself I’m a writer but I’m always full of self doubt. That hasn’t stopped me though. I’ve just  self published (or  vanity published if you must, I hate that term! ) a collection of Victorian inspired ghost stories, A Spirited Evening and Other Stories

I’m also a fan of natural cosmetics and I’m an (increasingly) infrequent gamer.

I write about my life and the things I care about

Prone to ranting.

All opinions expressed are my own.

Congratulations on self-publishing Rosie. Hope your sales are going well. I too ended up writing a novel with a few ghosts, though mine show up in present time. Fun, huh?

Sorry about that, Katherine. Multi-tasking this morning, my only excuse. My protagonist in A CRY FROM THE DEEP is Catherine Fitzgerald. I obviously like your name. 🙂 Thanks for your interest.
